BBL '24-'25 Season

What is it?
The BBL '24-'25 tipping competition offers a thrilling opportunity for fans to dive into the fast-paced excitement of the Big Bash League season.

How do I play?

Selection Process 

Entrants will make one (1) selection from the following options for each match in a competition round.

• Home Side Wins Match By 1-20 Runs or 1-6 Wickets
• Home Side Wins Match By 21+ Runs or 7-10 Wickets
• Away Side Wins Match By 1-20 Runs or 1-6 Wickets
• Away Side Wins Match By 21+ Runs or 7-10 Wickets

Winning Margin 

• 2 points for the selection of each winning team
• 1 point bonus for selecting the correct method of victory as per the options listed above.
• Where a match is decided by a “Super Over” the above options will still apply and the margin of runs between the 2 teams at the conclusion of the Super Over will determine the result for that match.

• COMMENCES: 15th December 2024
• CONCLUDES: 19th January 2025

$2,000 National Prize Pool -

• First Place - $1,000

• Second Place - $600

• Third Place - $400

Local Venue Competitions

Optional venue-specific contests with their own entry fees and prize pools.

General Information

Weekly Submission 

Entrants must have tips placed at least 5 minutes prior to the commencement of the first game. Tipping for each round closes 5 minutes prior to the advertised time of the last match of each round as per the official BBL fixture. Tips can be changed by re-selecting matches and the last set of selections submitted will count.

Ties Scores

In the event that Entrants tie, then the prizes will be evenly divided between these Entrants.

Default Tips

Entrants who fail to submit the tips will be assigned the default tip option for a match which is Away Side win by 21+ runs or 7-10 Wkts.

Scoring System 

Earn 2 points for selecting the winning team, a bonus point for the correct winning margin, and 2 points for a drawn game.

Other General Information

• The Entrant(s) with the highest tip tally at the conclusion of the final Home and Away round of the 2024/25 BBL Tipping competition will be declared the winner(s).
• Tipping will be conducted over tailored competition rounds determined by SportsPick. Rounds will consist of selected matches in the BBL H&A season and will include matches chosen by SportsPick to form weekly competition rounds.
• Matches to be included in a competition round will be determined by SportsPick. There is NO tipping on the BBL Finals Series.
