What is the AFL Super Rounds?

This AFL season, we’re cranking up the stakes with THREE exclusive Super Rounds, each boasting a massive $2,000 prize!

But here’s the twist – during the qualifying period, the highest scorer of each round will qualify for the next upcoming Super Round. In the event of a tie, the entrant's Margin selection will be used as a tie-breaker. Do you have what it takes to make the cut?

Mark Your Calendars:

• Super Round 1 Qualifiers: Thursday, March 5 to Sunday, April 12 

  • Super Round 1 on Round 6: Thursday April 16 to Sunday April 19

• Super Round 2 Qualifiers: Thursday, April 23 to Sunday, May 31 

  • Super Round 2 on Round 13: Thursday June 4 to Monday June 8

• Super Round 3 Qualifiers: Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, June 14 

  • Super Round 3 on Round 23: Thursday August 13 to Sunday August 16

This isn’t your average tipping comp – it’s your shot at glory and cold, hard cash! Whether you’re a seasoned expert or a rising star, the 2026 AFL Super Rounds are your time to shine.

In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the most correct tips first, then the margin, then the highest national score, and finally, timestamp if needed.

How to Qualify for the AFL Super Rounds:

Each week, the top tipper from participating SportsPick venues will have a chance to secure their spot in the next AFL Super Round. Simply win your venue’s weekly tipping competition, and you’ll have the chance to qualify to compete for the $2,000 prize in an upcoming Super Round. 

Winners will be contacted via email or SMS, so make sure your marketing consent is turned on in the SportsPick App to ensure you don’t miss out on your spot.

How to Play:

1. Visit a Participating Venue
   Go to a venue that is participating in the AFL Super Tipper.

2. Download the SportsPick or use an In-Venue Terminal
   Log into the SportsPick App or in-venue terminal.

3. Join your Local Venue Competition
   Enter your local venue competition to have a chance at the prize pools.

4. Make Your Selections
   Pick the teams you think will win their game for each round.

Selection Process

Each round, entrants select one team to win each Home & Away match, testing their footy knowledge with every tip. As the season progresses, the excitement builds with a knockout tip that kicks off after Round 3, adding an extra layer of strategy and intensity. With each knockout round, only the sharpest tippers advance, making every decision crucial as they battle for supremacy in the ultimate tipping challenge.

Scoring Mechanism 

Winning selections earn 1 point, draws earn 1 point, and losing selections earn no points. Points accumulate throughout the season to rank competitors.

National Podium Prizes

• First Place - $15,000

• Second Place - $10,000

• Third Place - $5,000

• Fourth Place - $2,500

• Fifth Place - $1,000

Weekly Tip All Winners

Every round (for the duration of the tipping competition), a draw will be conducted out of all entrants that pick ALL winners in a round to determine five (5) winners, who will each win $100.

Super Round Competition

Throughout the 2025 AFL season, there will be THREE Super Rounds, each with a $2,000 prize pool, and only select tippers will have the chance to enter. The Super Round dates are April 16, June 4, and August 13.

Knockout Competition

Starting from Round 3, this challenge requires entrants to choose the correct winning teams in each round to stay in the competition. The last tipper standing, or those with the highest cumulative margin from their selections by season’s end, will claim the $5,000 prize.

Local Venue Competitions

In addition to the main competition, there will be optional venue-specific contests, each with its own entry fees and prize pools. These exclusive challenges give tippers the chance to compete against others at their local venue, adding an extra layer of excitement and the opportunity to win even more cash prizes. Venues will set, collect and manage their own in-house competition entry fees and prize pools (SportsPick will not be able to provide the winnings).

Default Tips

For rounds where selections are missed, entrants will be assigned away teams for up to 5 matches, ensuring the competition remains inclusive and engaging, even if a round is skipped.
