What is the Sportspick Tipster?

The Sportspick Tipster is a self contained touch screen customer interface with thermal printer.  The terminal operates on any ADSL broadband internet connection.  Most venues have an existing broadband internet connection and the unlike other kiosk applications, the Sportspick Tipster can ‘piggyback’ on an existing connection saving venues the cost of installing a separate dedicated internet service.

The Sportspick Tipster terminal features a motorized screen angle adjustment, providing fine viewing angle adjustment while securely locking the screen in place once the optimum viewing angle is found.  It also features a removable 2.5" HDD for serviceability and splash resistant design for durability in the pub and club environment.

The Sportspick Tipster has a separate Gravity thermal printer.  The printer uses standard 80x80 thermal paper rolls and features a simple ‘Drop In’ paper loading mechanism for ease of operation.

What do I need to run Sportspick in my venue?

A venue requires a broadband internet connection.  Most venues run data cable from an existing broadband router to a specific location where the Sportspick terminal resides. 
The Sportspick Tipster unit can use an existing broadband internet connection within your venue and does not need a separate dedicated broadband service.  If you have a modem/router with a spare ethernet port available, you can connect the terminal to this.
