Sportspick Kiosk & Tipster Functions
Competitions Sportspick runs many competitions each year with over $300,000 in prizes. Tips can only be placed at Sportspick venues and venues can offer their own prizes for competitions and provide weekly offers to tippers for entering their tips. The competitions run each year by Sportspick are; AFL/NRL – prizes for leading tippers for season, 1st half and 2nd half, 2 knockout competitions, weekly pick 8 prize and weekly random prize. Tippers select match winner and one team for knockout. Racing – separate 10 week competitions for Autumn Racing, Winter Racing & Spring Racing. Prizes for leading tippers, weekly winner and knockout winner. Tippers select 1 horse for last 5 races on card and score points according to simulated $1 each way bet placed on their selections. Super 14 – prizes for leading tippers for season. Tippers select team and margin (ie 1-16, 17-32, 33+). Tippers score 5 points for correct team and 3 point bonus for correct margin. English Premier League/Hyundai A-League – prizes for leading tippers for season. Tippers select winner or select draw for each match and select joker to score double points for one match if that tip is correct. Brownlow Medal – prizes for leading tippers. Tippers select one player from each team and score points for votes awarded to that player. Results are updated during the count so tippers can track their progress throughout the night.
Random Rewards
Venues can award offers to customers for swiping their card at the Sportspick terminal in their venue. The venue can set the chances for winning each offer and can only be entered once per day. The random reward is processed for the customer the first time they enter they swipe their card each day either through entering tips or specifically pressing the Random Rewards button on the terminal.
Sports Info
The Sports Info section on the terminal displays ladders and results for all the major football leagues throughout Australia. Also displayed are the results and ladders for the English Premier League, Hyundai A-League, NRL, a comprehensive sports calendar and latest sports lists and news.
Local Directory The local directory allows venues to advertise local businesses on the terminal and provide an opportunity for them to make available an offer specific to the local business which can be printed out from the terminal.
888 Poker League The terminal displays up to date scores for all 888 Poker League venues across Australia. Customers can view scores for State Leaders, Regional Leaders and venue scores for each night the venue runs events.
Venue Info
Venues can update and display information regarding their facilities and events. The information can be spread over a number of pages and images can be uploaded to enhance the display. Event Calendar The event calendar allows the venue to advertise upcoming events at their venue. They can enter one-off events and repeating events and once events have passed they are not displayed anymore. As with the Venue Info function, images can be uploaded regarding the events.
